the Nuri Nahara Scholarship FUND

The Nuri Nahara Scholarship fund is a financial initiative started in conjunction with local educators and community activists to support top-achieving minority students from Washington, DC in their transition to college. This annual scholarship is awarded to a graduating District of Columbia high school senior who exemplifies stellar academic achievement and robust community involvement. Students must be accepted and scheduled for matriculation at an institution of higher education in the fall of their graduation year.

Application details for the 2019-2020 academic year will be available in upcoming months.

We actively seek educators, professionals, and non-profit founders to partner with on service project development and fundraising. If you’d like to partner with Nuri Nahara or Saína on an upcoming community service initiative or project, please submit an inquiry via the contact section of this site.
